Do not rub or traumatize the procedure area(s) while it is healing, as pigment may be removed along with crusting tissue. Avoid contact with animals, gardening, sun, sauna, jacuzzi, chlorine pools, ocean, and steam room for ten days to preserve color for a longer period of time. Do not use products that contain AHAs on the procedure area(s) (e.g. glycolic, lactic acids). Always check your product labeling as these products will fade your pigment color.
Most permanent makeup procedures are a two-step process. Final results cannot be determined until touch-up application is completed. The touch-up is intended to fill in any discoloration caused by the healing and scabbing process. I strongly suggest all of my clients to make an appointment to come in to let me see the procedure area(s) whether or not you feel you need a touch-up.
One touch up visit is included in the initial price and must be completed between four to six weeks after initial procedure. You will lose your touch-up if you fail to have it done in that time frame. If you fail to show up for your touch-up appointment, there will be an additional charge.
Do not wash/use makeup remover on the procedure area(s) or apply makeup for 48 hours. Do not touch the procedure area(s) with your fingers as they may have bacteria on them and create infection. Use a clean cotton swab to apply ointment, three times daily for seven to ten days.

NO Botox or chemical peels of any kind! These include glycolic, pumpkin, alpha hydroxy acid, salicylic acid, microdermabrasion, and laser facials, both ablative and non-ablative. Also included are Fraxel, CO2, and IPL laser treatments.
Starting three hours after your appointment and right before you go to bed, blot away any fluid with a paper towel or gauze to prevent excessive scabbing; do not use tissue.
During the first two to three weeks after treatment keep scabs dry, moisturizing just enough to keep them "flexible." Do not pick the scabs. The longer the scabs remain, the better the color will set.
Within the first two weeks following the treatment, clean your eyebrows gently with a mild soap twice a day. Make sure you have clean hands, a clean cotton pad, and water to cleanse the brows. Apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor or Vaseline.
Reduce pain and swelling by taking over-the-counter pain medications and/or applying a clean icepack, wrapped in a towel, to the brows.
DO NOT sleep on your face within the first ten days after treatment, and makes sure your pillow case is clean.
DO NOT engage in exercise or activities that will cause heavy sweating for the first ten days after treatment. Salt will draw out the pigment.
DO NOT let your eyebrows get soaked. You DO NOT want the scabs to get soggy.
DO NOT tan and limit your sun exposure for three to four weeks after the treatment.
DO NOT use harsh cleaners, cream, or products on your eyebrows for at least ten days.
DO NOT pick or scratch at scabs or dry skin on or near your eyebrows; let them fall off naturally.
DO NOT get facials, Botox, chemical treatments and/or microdermabrasion for four weeks following the treatment.
Although this care is fairly minimal, helping your eyebrows stay sharp and nicely colored means you'll need to take care of them long term too.
I recommend...
Always using sunscreen, as sunlight will fade your semi permanent eyebrow tattoos.
Avoid using anti-aging creams in the area, as they can affect your tattoos.
Avoid certain skin treatments in the area, such as chemical peels, facial scrubs, laser rejuvenation, microdermabrasion and others.
If you plan a skin treatment, tell your beautician about your eyebrow tattoo.
If you need an MRI scan or other medical procedure, inform your doctor about your semi permanent eyebrows.
There's no guarantee how long semi permanent brows will last, but with a little care and consideration, you'll ensure you achieve a great result for as long as possible.
TRUST THE PROCESS!!
After the appointment your eyebrows are going to be approximately 50% darker and 10-15% bolder in width than when they will be when healed.
I consider brows a two-step process, as it is much easier to add/darken than it is to take away/lighten. So make sure to make sure to schedule your touch-up appointment in advance.
Down below is a fun little diagram of what you can expect during the healing stages of your new powder/ombré brows. I hope this helps you to feel reassured that what you are experiencing is totally normal and at the end of the healing process you will love your new brows
"I love my new brows!"
"Whoa! These are way too dark & thick! Freaking out a bit!"
"Oh no, now they're the wrong shape and flaking off..."
"What the heck! Now my brows are gone!"
"Hmm now they're coming back...
just a little patchy"
